I’ve been running my own freelance translation and localization practice since 2017, working with international businesses, agencies and organizations. I specialize in English-to-European Portuguese translation, localization and proofreading across marketing, e-commerce, websites, software/UI, automotive and technical content. My work involves not only accurate translation, but adapting content for the Portuguese market while maintaining the appropriate tone, terminology, cultural nuance and consistency across platforms and content types. I work directly with businesses, agencies and international teams, providing both one-off projects and ongoing localization support.
