I worked part-time at A-S Computer Parts and Accessories Shop in Tacloban City as a Shop Assistant, assisting customers with document services, repair-job intake, product and accessory sales, and general day-to-day shop operations. I prepared customer information and paperwork for repair requests before handing devices to the person responsible for repairs, handled sales transactions, and helped customers with encoding, editing, formatting, and printing documents. I also created and managed the shop’s Facebook Page. I handled its content, maintained the page, and responded to customer inquiries, giving me practical experience with basic social media management and online customer communication. The role often required me to manage several customers and tasks at once while staying organized, accurate, and courteous. One of the things I value most from this experience was earning and maintaining the trust of both customers and my employer, even during busy periods when I had to keep the operations moving smoothly. When I decided to leave due to important concerns at home, I informed my employer about two weeks before my planned departure so the transition could be handled properly. I was told that I would be welcome to return and work with them again in the future. I genuinely consider that as a reflection of the responsibility, reliability, and trust I brought to the role.
