Subtitles and captions are similar, but each serves a dynamic audience. Subtitles are simply translated dialogue supporting audio-enabled broadcasting to an audience whose native language is different. Closed captioning support video translation intended for an audience with impaired hearing.
What is the turnaround time?

Good subtitling is an art that requires negotiating conflicting requirements. Still, also there is a need to balance this against considerations such as screen action, speech speed or editing and visual content. I follow the Netflix Timed Text Style Guide.
