I’m Areej, a Medical Doctor, and an enthusiastic reader. Knowing my name gives you insight into my ethnic roots; I am of Palestinian/Turkish descent. I grew up as a minority (Arab/Muslim) in a small city in the Canadian province of Quebec. I have always loved writing and participated in my school’s Journal and Reading Clubs. As a medical student in Europe, I am grateful for the opportunity to have immersed myself in different cultures. Which I believe can be a bonus for my perspective on your work.
