As a Mechanical Design Engineer, I was responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems, components, and products using engineering principles and CAD tools. They work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs. Key Responsibilities: • Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). • Design mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on project requirements. • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis (stress, thermal, motion, etc.). • Develop prototypes and support testing and validation processes. • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and cost efficiency. • Prepare technical documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and design reports. • Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback and performance results. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
