I am Wuaji, whose real name is Hilva Ipuana, a Wayuu freelance illustrator who lives in Guajira-Colombia. The Wayuu are a group of indigenous people who love their culture. We are famous in the world for the beautiful Wayuu Bag. As an illustrator, I like my illustrations to reflect my culture and customs.

WHAT IS WAYUU?
People of sand, sun and wind. The Wayuu indigenous people lives in the peninsula of La Guajira, located in the north of Colombia the Wayúu are great artisans and merchants and have been tireless fighters for their rights. It is a community considered cultural and socially strong.
THAN THE WAYUU MAKEUP?
It is a makeup that presents tradition. It is used to represent nature. makeup for men and women with a total of 50 types of makeup. It is used in Wayuu dances and Wayuu festivals.
