Threadline was a small performance marketing agency managing email for six direct to consumer brands in skincare and supplements. My role was to go into broken activecampaign and klaviyo accounts and identify why contacts were leaking out of sequences or not triggering at all. The problems were almost always logic errors with conflicting tags, wait steps with no exit conditions or segment filters pulling the wrong audience. I rebuilt the post purchase flow for a skincare client whose klaviyo sequence was sending order confirmation emails three days after purchase. Traced it to a fulfillment webhook feeding the wrong timestamp into the trigger. Fixed the connector, adjusted the delay step and tested across 200 sample contacts. Their post purchase sequence completion rate went from 41% to 74% over 45 days. On Activecampaign I handled a health supplement brand whose welcome series was sending duplicates. I found overlapping list based and tag based entry points pulling the same contacts in twice. Consolidated it to a single tag based entry, added a duplicate contact check at step one and documented the full logic map in notion so their VA could maintain it. No further duplicates in four months.
