Our company, The Room with the Lights On, has specialized in songwriting since 2014, as well as on Fiverr since 2017. Specializing in Rap and R&B, but also writing songs in genres such as Country, Pop and Dance, we love to create a hit song for you today! This gig offers:
- An 8-bar hook for $25.
- A 16-bar verse for $30.
- A (Up to 3 verse) full song for $100.
These are our standard prices for customers that already have their beat that they would like their song to be written to. We may also find the beat for you, for an additional $30. In return, you will receive both written lyrics and a reference track.

"The Room with the Lights On" is a business/songwriting duo based in Maryland, focused on helping aspiring artists and poets with their writing needs. Whether it be a Rap/R&B song that you just can't find a hook for, or a poem that you don't know how to start, you can certainly depend on us.
FAQ
What genres do you all work in?
Most of our work is in Rap and R&B (similar to artists such as Drake, Partynextdoor, The Weeknd, etc.) but we also have a large catalog of projects in Pop, Country, Dance, and some others. We'd be happy to show you some!
How does ownership work?
At our base prices, we would want to be credited as songwriters, and given 50% lyrical ownership of anything we write. We do have prices for ghostwriting as well, feel free to send us a message for details!
Will you all record to the beat so I know how it sounds?
In short, yes! All of our orders come with both a text file of the lyrics and a wav reference track, so that you can have an idea of how we envisioned everything to sound.
