What is copy/line editing?
Copy editing/line editing is the process of ensuring that a text is correct in terms of grammar, syntax, punctuation, spelling, tense, capitalisation, hyphenation, and overall consistency.
Do you rewrite content?
No, I may change words or sentences but I don't rewrite whole content or write extra content. That would be ghost writing, not editing.
Do you do content/developmental editing?
Yes, but contact me beforehand or check out my other gigs for that.
Do you do formatting?
No, my service only includes editing. Most editors don't typically include formatting as part of an edit.
Do I edit in formats other than Microsoft Word?
No, Word is best for editing in because of its track changes capability.
Do I edit website content?
Yes, absolutely.
