Photo Edit

Jan 2022 - Present • 4 yrs 9 mos

In addition to my visual effects work, I expanded my skills into professional photo editing and manipulation in 2024. With a strong background in VFX techniques, transitioning into photo editing felt like a natural extension of my skill set. The precision, attention to detail, and image manipulation techniques used in visual effects are highly applicable to high-end photo editing. Since beginning this journey, I have focused primarily on real estate photo editing, where visual presentation plays a key role in attracting buyers and enhancing property listings. My work includes sky replacement, colour correction, exposure balancing, perspective correction, object removal, and other image enhancements that help transform ordinary property photos into clean, bright, and market-ready images. Using professional editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, I apply a workflow that emphasises natural results, visual consistency, and careful attention to lighting and detail. My goal is to enhance images while maintaining a realistic and professional look. The experience gained from working in the VFX industry has helped me approach photo editing with a strong technical understanding of image manipulation and compositing. This allows me to handle complex edits while maintaining high-quality standards. Through this work, I continue to develop my skills in both VFX and professional photo editing, combining technical precision with creative problem-solving to deliver visually compelling results.

VFX Artist

Sep 2019 - Present • 7 yrs 1 mo

I am a dedicated VFX artist with professional experience in visual effects production, primarily working with industry-standard tools such as Foundry Nuke. My work focuses mainly on paint, roto, and cleanup tasks that help create seamless and realistic visual effects for film and media projects. I started my journey in the VFX industry with a short three-day studio training. After completing the training, I joined the team as a regular employee and began working on active production shots. Since then, I have contributed to multiple VFX projects, gaining practical experience within a real studio pipeline and collaborating with other artists to meet professional production standards. My responsibilities include detailed paint work, frame-by-frame cleanup, object removal, reflection removal, and roto tasks that support the compositing process. These tasks require strong attention to detail, consistency across frames, and the ability to maintain natural image quality while removing unwanted elements from the footage. Through my work, I have contributed to numerous VFX shots across various projects, helping deliver clean, production-ready plates for the compositing team. I have also been credited on IMDb for my work on real industry productions. I continue to refine my skills and workflow while aiming to grow further as a VFX artist and contribute to high-quality visual effects productions.
