What makes this different from cheaper WordPress gigs?
Most WordPress gigs install a pre-built theme and call it custom. I hand-code a theme from scratch to your brand, with proper ACF Pro field structures so editing is easy. The site loads faster, ranks better, and stays maintainable. You're paying for 19 years of doing this properly - world class.
Will I be able to edit the site myself afterwards?
Yes. I build with custom ACF Pro fields so editing your site is as simple as filling in form fields in WordPress — no code, no page builder learning curve. I'll include a walkthrough video of your specific setup at handover.
Do I need to provide hosting?
Starter package assumes you have hosting. Professional and Flagship include hosting setup on Cloudways (my preferred host for speed) with Cloudflare in front. Hosting costs are separate and paid direct to the host — typically £10-30/month depending on traffic.
Can you migrate my existing site or content?
Yes. If you have an existing WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or other site, I can migrate content as part of the build. Migration of more than 30 pages may need a custom quote — message me first.
Do you build WooCommerce or booking systems?
WooCommerce stores, booking systems, membership sites, learning platforms, custom integrations. The Flagship package includes one major integration. For complex multi-system builds, message me for a custom quote.
What about ongoing support after launch?
You get 14 days post-launch support included on every package to fix anything that comes up. After that, I offer optional monthly retainers for content updates, performance monitoring, and security. We can discuss this during the build.
Why should I order this over a £100 WordPress gig?
You shouldn't, if a £100 site is what you need. But cheap WordPress sites typically use bloated themes, fail Core Web Vitals, can't be edited cleanly, and need to be rebuilt within 2 years. If your website is core to your business, the cost of getting it wrong is much higher.
Is SEO. and Page speed included?
Yes, exceptionally well. I'm a seasoned SEO consultant and bake SEO and performance into every single build.
