Managed the full-cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting for a multi-unit food business. My primary focus was bridging the gap between operational sales and financial accounting by integrating 3S POS data with QuickBooks Online. I ensured that all revenue, VAT, and expense data were accurately captured to provide a real-time view of the company’s financial health. Project Responsibilities: POS & Ledger Synchronization: Automated the daily export of sales and transaction data from 3S POS into QuickBooks, maintaining 100% accuracy in revenue reporting. Bank Reconciliation: Performed weekly reconciliations of high-volume bank and credit card statements to ensure the general ledger remained audit-ready. COGS & Expense Analysis: Categorized operational costs and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to help management identify fluctuations in food waste and supplier pricing. Financial Reporting: Prepared monthly and yearly consolidated Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets for the UK branch. Compliance: Managed accounts payable and tracked payroll expenses, ensuring all financial activities aligned with standard accounting principles.
