I basically built the entire modern internal development platform @ FFC from scratch — and I’m not exaggerating. The crown jewel is FFC Orbit, built in a modular .NET 8 + Blazor framework which I designed and coded myself. Think of it as our internal “app store” — one core platform that now runs every new internal tool. No more copy-pasting code or dealing with 10 different login screens. I own the whole thing end-to-end: architecture, backend, frontend, Docker setup, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, the works. What I actually shipped: FFC Orbit Framework (Cloud-Ready from Day One) - Built a real plug-in system — teams can now drop in a new app like a DLL and it just works. No core rebuilds, no merge hell. - Single source of truth for auth, roles, permissions, menus, theming, audit logs — everything centralized. - Clean multi-layer backend (DDD + CQRS where it makes sense), EF Core 8, SQL Server with proper indexing and stored procs that don’t cry under load. - Fully Dockerized + Compose files that actually work the same on my laptop, test servers, and production. - SAP Integration with FFC-Orbit Payment Order App (first full app on Orbit) - Took it from zero to live in months instead of the usual year-long saga. - Multi-level approvals, attachments, comments, notifications, exports, dashboards — the whole finance team uses it daily now. - Because 80% of the plumbing (auth, UI components, logging) was already done in Orbit, I could focus on business logic and actually deliver fast. DevOps & Infrastructure - Killed the “works on my machine” nightmare with Docker. - Built proper CI/CD pipelines (build → test → docker image → deploy) so we can push to production without holding our breath. - Automated a ton of server tasks that used to be manual Excel-level pain. - Tuned databases and APIs until pages load in <1 second even when 200 people hammer it at month-end closing.
