Built and led development of Staffron, a production-grade IoT-powered attendance and payroll platform used to automate workforce management for businesses. The system connects physical hardware devices including facial recognition terminals and gate controllers to a cloud backend and mobile app, eliminating manual check-ins and streamlining HR operations end-to-end. As Team Lead and Full-Stack Developer, I was responsible for the full product lifecycle: system architecture, API design, hardware integration, frontend dashboards, mobile notifications, and team coordination through to client delivery. What I built: - Facial Recognition Authentication. Integrated biometric verification into the device layer with sub-2-second employee identification. - Internet of things Gate Access Control. Automated entry triggers tied to verified identity events via the hardware-software bridge. - Real-Time Notification System. Push alerts to the Staffron mobile app for instant attendance and access updates. - Payroll and Leave Management Module. Automated pay calculations from verified hours with multi-level approval workflows. - Time Tracking Engine. Accurate clock-in/out recording synced from IoT devices to the backend. - Admin Dashboard. Unified control panel for HR teams covering attendance, payroll, access logs, and leave requests. - Led a cross-functional dev team through full SDLC, from architecture planning to final deployment and client handoff.
