Horror requires excellent storytelling with a deep focus on emotional resonance and impact. If you don't scare yourself, you probably won't scare your readers. Let me hang out with your scary tale and see if you can make me cry. I grew up in a real haunted house. I doubt it!

I'm your beta-tester Film studios never release a movie without running it through their test audiences first. In prose, this is the job of the beta-readers. With 20 years of writing experience - primarily in fantasy and horror - I've become an expert in storytelling. I have spent much of that time as a coach, mentor, developmental editor, magazine acquisitions editor, and a teacher. I have a BA in Creative Writing and I'm working on my MFA.
