Domingo Ramírez Gallardo—also known as Domingo and El Silencio—is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, sound designer, experimental luthier, editor, and radio producer based in Valparaíso. His beginnings in Santiago with the rock band Gato a Secas allowed him to develop within an environment constantly dedicated to musical creation and exploration. Having studied at IP Projazz and the Escuela Superior de Jazz, he has honed his skills in areas such as orchestration, music production, glitch culture, and sound design. As a solo artist, he has explored genres including jazz, death metal, electronica, experimental music, noise, and singer-songwriter styles through various parallel projects. He currently works in radio, sound design, and music for stage productions and performance art, while also conducting research into the distinctions between sound and noise within musical creation.

I've been the bassist and founder of the Chilean Alternative Rock band "Gato a Secas". We have managed to release 2 albums and a set of singles while mantaining a constant fanbase during our many many gigs. We have toured to Argentina and many other spots across Chile.
