I started working on Upwork as a freelance video editor, where I worked with international clients on different video editing projects. Through Upwork, I gained valuable experience working with clients from different niches, understanding their requirements, communicating professionally, and delivering high-quality videos on time. Over time, I built a strong reputation on the platform, achieved a 100% Job Success Score, and later earned Top Rated status. Upwork played an important role in helping me grow my freelance career, improve my client management skills, and build the experience that eventually helped me move toward building my own video editing agency, BEHIND THE EDIT.

I worked with Xeros Media as a Senior Video Editor and Head of Department (HOD) where I was responsible not only for editing high quality videos but also for managing and guiding the editing team. As a Senior Editor, I handled professional video editing projects, focusing on storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, sound design, and visual quality. As HOD I supervised editors, assigned projects, reviewed their work provided feedback, maintained quality standards and helped the team meet deadlines. This experience strengthened my leadership team management client communication and project management skills while also allowing me to grow from an individual editor into a team leader.
