What information do you need from me to get started?
Your insurance plan name/ID, the medication and dosage prescribed, your prescriber's name and contact info, and any prior denial letters if this is a resubmission.
Do you need access to my insurance account or login?
No login credentials are required. I work directly with the information and documentation you provide.
What if the request gets denied?
I'll let you know right away and explain the reason for denial. In many cases we can file an appeal or resubmit with additional clinical documentation. Happy to discuss next steps if that happens.
Do you only handle the medications listed, or others too?
The medications listed are just common examples as I work mostly with Mental Health and Primary Care providers. I handle prior authorizations for most prescription medications requiring PA in the US.
Will the cost increase in case of a re-submission / appeal of a denial.
No. The price we decide on is final. Whether we get the medication approved in one submission or multiple appeals.
Is it guranteed that my medication will be approved.
The approval of your medication will depend entirely on the information you provide me with. Most insurances require trial and failure of formulary alternatives before a branded medication can be approved. I will let you know of these alternatives beforehand.
