FAQ
Do I need any technical knowledge to manage this setup afterwards?
Basic computer skills are enough. Once configured, everything is largely automated.
Will I be able to access my media remotely?
Yes! Plex allows streaming from virtually anywhere, and with the proper configuration, you can safely access your library on-the-go.
How long does the setup process take?
Typically, it can be done within a few hours once I have all the necessary information and access.
Can I add new content easily once everything is set up?
Definitely. Tools like Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, and Transmission automate much of the process. Any further additions are straightforward—just drop them in, and the system handles the rest.
Can I still use my computer for other tasks?
Definitely. These services typically run in the background and won’t stop you from using your computer for normal day-to-day activities.
Do I need any subscription to use these services?
No! Everything I set up and configure is completely free, with no costs or mandatory subscriptions.
