Architecture & Drafting is a two year course taught at FCAHS. The year one course teaches the fundamentals of drafting, starting with hand drafting of basic shapes. Once mastered, the students then learn how to use AutoCAD. They learn to draw more complex items in 2D and 3D. The year two class learns the fundamentals of Architectural Drafting in AutoCAD and Revit. By the end of the course, students should be able to draw a floor plan, elevations, electrical plan, roof plan, and foundation plan. The year two students will complete the course by taking the Autodesk Certified User exam. In addition to teaching, I am the boys and girls head soccer coach and the head SkillsUSA advisor. Both clubs/teams require proficient organization and exceptional financial management.
