Lead business and economic news coverage, with a focus on banking, financial markets, corporate affairs, trade, investment, economic policy and major business developments. I oversee the planning, reporting, editing and development of business and financial news content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, relevance and timely publication. My responsibilities include researching and reporting complex economic and financial issues, conducting interviews with business leaders, economists, policymakers and industry professionals, developing news stories and feature articles, and producing investigative and research-based reports. I regularly analyze economic data, government policies, budgets, banking and financial sector developments, capital market trends and corporate activities to develop informative and reader-focused news content. I also edit and refine reports prepared by reporters, verify information and sources, improve headlines and story structure, and ensure that published content meets professional journalistic standards. My work involves identifying important business and economic stories, developing story ideas, coordinating coverage and turning complex information into clear, accurate and engaging content for a broad audience. Through this role, I have developed strong expertise in business journalism, financial reporting, economic analysis, investigative research, interviewing, editing, fact-checking and digital content development.
