As the senior editor at my company, I worked closely with writers to clean up drafts, fix structural issues, and cut whatever wasn't pulling its weight. Over time, that work showed up in the numbers — faster turnaround, fewer revision cycles, and content that actually landed with readers. I built the team's style guide from the ground up, something that's still in use today. I also helped bring in new voices that pushed our coverage into territory we hadn't touched before. Honestly, most of the job was just reading the same paragraph over and over until it said what it was supposed to say. That, and convincing writers that their third paragraph was actually their lead.
