I was a freelance creative director/copywriter for Chipotle between 2000 - 2003, working directly with their in-house creative team in their Denver world headquarters. Among many other projects, I developed this series of Holiday POP/POS posters to promote the purchase of Chipotle Holiday Gift Certificates.

Do you only write short-form video scripts?
Yes. My expertise is in conceiving/writing short-form advertising: from 6-seconds up to 2-3 minutes. This can take the form of commercials, sales/promo videos, corporate image films, branded content, etc.
What is your TV-Print Sizzle Reel?

What's the diff between a concept versus a script?
A concept is a description of the commercial's idea. It includes a basic visual description of the setting, characters, action, etc—and sample dialog/voice-over. A script is a precisely timed, carefully crafted and structured story—yes, the best :30 TV spots must tell a story.

Bruce is a masterful storyteller. As a junior creative, I’ve learned a lot from him. A decent idea doesn’t mean a decent ad. It may be extremely challenging to transform it into a professional advertisement, but Bruce goes beyond researching the problem. He thoroughly investigates how to make the big idea work. The result? It does work beautifully.
