On Veterans Information Technologies Inc. (under Jamila & Co.) Systems Developer responsible for developing, modernizing, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications used across company operations. I started in 2015 working with legacy DOS-based systems and participated in migrating and redeveloping them into Windows desktop applications using Delphi. We continued to manage, maintain, and enhance these systems throughout their operational lifecycle. Around 2020, I participated in transitioning our Windows-based applications into modern web-based systems, which I continue to develop, maintain, and improve today. My work includes HRIS and manpower movement, payroll and attendance processing, inventory management, accounting systems, operational and management reports, dashboards, APIs, and system integrations. I also provide application support and report development for our Billing System. I work extensively with Laravel, PHP, MySQL, SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and REST APIs. My responsibilities also include database design and complex SQL queries, production troubleshooting, deployment, server-related issues, and translating actual business processes and management requirements into working system solutions. I also provide support for company IT infrastructure, networking, hardware/software issues, and Sophos firewall environments when required.
