I serve as the conductor and orchestrator of the Ansamblul Artistic Suflet Românesc, where I am responsible for coordinating the musical activity of the ensemble and preparing the orchestral material used in performances. My role includes conducting the orchestra during rehearsals, concerts, festivals, and cultural events, ensuring interpretative coherence, balance between instrumental sections, and a unified musical expression. As a conductor, I guide the ensemble in shaping tempo, dynamics, articulation, and overall musical character. In addition to conducting, I write and prepare the musical scores performed by the ensemble. I create arrangements and orchestrations of traditional and stylized Romanian folk music, adapting them to the instrumental structure of the orchestra. This work includes writing the full score as well as the individual parts for each musician. I am also involved in the musical preparation of the repertoire, organizing and structuring pieces in a way that supports the artistic concept of each performance. My work includes integrating orchestral music with vocal and choreographic moments, ensuring a coherent and expressive stage production. Through my activity as a conductor and orchestrator, I contribute to the preservation, promotion, and artistic development of Romanian traditional music within the ensemble’s performances.
