For the past 16 years, I've worked one-on-one with parents, kids, and families to help them through the everyday ups and downs of parenting, from communication breakdowns to behavioral struggles to just plain family conflict. I've sat with individual parents trying to figure out what's going wrong, and I've worked with whole families together when the issue was bigger than just one person. None of this is theory for me; I've been raising my own two kids this entire time, from their early years right through the teenage stage they're in now, so every bit of guidance I give comes from things I've actually lived through myself, not something I read in a book.
