Acerca de este Servicio
As writers, we always aim to create perfectly fleshed-out, realistic characters. But there's only so much we know from living as being a single person, in a single life, to be able to adequately portray all the diverse people we may want.
Born American, to immigrant parents, having lived in varied latino cultures, woman, LGBT, and having specialized in psychology, I can easily (and happily!) point out any misinterpretation or unknowingly offensive or biased content in a huge diversity of areas.
Ranging from simple issues like incorrect translations of brief conversations between Spanish-speaking chracters, to the physical symptoms one goes through when suffering from a mental illness, I can help you create the characters you want to know and feel as close as those you live with.
If you're ready to bring these nuanced people to life, just contact me to get going!

FAQ
Does this include beta reading?
No, this gig is only aimed at providing feedback regarding stereotypes and items related to that. If you'd like a beta reading with it, just let me know, and we can discuss the price for the additional work.
Do you do formatting?
No, this is only focused on character portrayals and matters related to that - I do not format books in any way.

I went to Carol for a race sensitivity read of my YA dystopia novel, particularly with regard to my Latino male protagonist. Her work was excellent and very detail-oriented, she always responded quickly and in a friendly manner. I'm very grateful for her work and definitely recommend her services!

Carol provided an excellent sensitivity read for a Latina main character in my romance novel. I would be happy to reach out and work together again if I have another book in the future. Great communication throughout the project too. Thanks very much!
