Served in progressive leadership roles with Family Promise, including 7 years as Executive Director of the Coastal Alabama affiliate (Mobile, AL) and 8 years at the national level as Regional Director, supporting affiliates across multiple states. As Executive Director, led all aspects of nonprofit operations, including board development, strategic planning, program implementation, and community partnerships. Worked closely with a local board of directors to strengthen governance, improve financial understanding, and guide organizational growth in a mission-driven environment. As Regional Director with the national office, provided leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to multiple nonprofit affiliates across the country. Supported boards and executive directors in navigating complex challenges, including leadership transitions, governance issues, program development, and organizational sustainability. This role required working with diverse boards of varying sizes, structures, and levels of experience—often in high-stakes situations where clarity, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making were essential.
