Former college professor at the University of Texas-Austin who taught writing courses for pre-health professions students. Graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill (PhD) and a small liberal arts college. I have 25 years of experience writing for public health, and in academia served on scholarship committees. I know what works when it comes to the reader! I have mentored and guided many high school, undergrad and aspiring graduate students, and also worked in admissions through my own undergraduate years. I started editing Common App, college application and scholarship essays for fun (yes, fun!).
