Accomplished Food Technologist and Public Health Nutrition Specialist with a Ph.D. in Food Technology and over a decade of experience across academia, public health, and industry. Currently serving as Head of Department, Food Science and Technology, Abbottabad University of Science and Technology, where I lead research, training, and community-focused nutrition initiatives. My previous role as Health Education and Nutrition Officer, Department of Health Gilgit-Baltistan, involved planning and implementing nutrition programs, health education campaigns, and community mobilization. I actively contributed to COVID-19 response efforts and school feeding programs, working closely with government and development partners. My research and publications emphasize food safety, human nutrition, and value-added product development, while my professional focus remains on improving nutrition outcomes through evidence-based interventions, capacity building, and multi-sectoral collaboration.
