Pinklips Cosmetics is a product-based beauty brand that needed a stronger, more consistent Pinterest presence and a clearer path from content discovery to product interest. The account had valuable products to promote, but visibility depended on better keyword targeting, organized boards, stronger Pin messaging, consistent publishing, and accurate links that guided users to the right products and collections. As the Pinterest Marketing & SEO Specialist, I planned and managed the brand’s Pinterest growth strategy. My work included audience and keyword research, board creation and optimization, Pin SEO, branded creative design, SEO-focused titles and descriptions, content scheduling, product-led content planning, and regular destination-link checks. I also reviewed which products, themes, and search terms were best suited to Pinterest discovery and used those insights to shape content around real buyer interests. To improve the user journey, I organized Pins so shoppers could move more naturally from inspiration to relevant product or collection pages. I focused on clear visuals, stronger calls to action, useful keyword placement, consistent branding, and content that matched the intent of beauty and cosmetics shoppers. This reduced confusion, improved content consistency, and made the account easier to navigate and understand. The strategy helped strengthen brand visibility, improve discoverability, and attract more qualified website visitors. The account grew to over 2 million monthly views, giving Pinklips Cosmetics a larger audience and a more reliable Pinterest presence. More importantly, the work created a repeatable system the brand could continue using for product promotion, seasonal campaigns, and long-term organic growth. This experience strengthened my ability to connect Pinterest SEO, content strategy, and ecommerce buyer behaviour, helping product-based brands become easier to discover and giving shoppers a clearer route from Pin to product.
