I spent over 11 years at Hotel Schwarzbrunn, a 4-star superior wellness hotel in the Austrian Alps, progressing from Junior Sales & Marketing Manager to Hotel Director. Working across different levels of the hotel gave me extensive first-hand experience in hospitality, guest experience, sales, marketing, wellness tourism and hotel operations. As Hotel Director, I was responsible for the overall operation and led a team of around 100 employees. This background gives me a valuable perspective as a travel planner: I understand hotels from the inside, know what creates a genuinely great guest experience, and can assess accommodation beyond ratings, photos and marketing descriptions.
