What is Terraform and why should I use it?
Terraform is an open-source Infrastructure as Code tool by HashiCorp. Instead of manually clicking through AWS console, Terraform lets you define your entire infrastructure in code files. This means your setup is version-controlled, repeatable, and can be deployed in minutes instead of hours.
Do I need to know Terraform to use your service?
Not at all! I handle everything from writing the code to providing clear documentation. I'll also include a README with step-by-step deployment instructions so you or your team can manage it going forward. I'm happy to do a quick walkthrough call if needed.
Which AWS services do you cover?
I cover all major AWS services including VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, ACM, IAM, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, and more. If you have a specific service in mind, just message me!
Can you work with my existing AWS infrastructure?
Absolutely. I can import your existing resources into Terraform state and write configurations around them. This way, you get IaC benefits without rebuilding from scratch.
Do you support multi-environment setups (dev/staging/prod)?
Yes! My Standard and Premium packages include modular Terraform code with variable-driven environments. You can deploy identical infrastructure across dev, staging, and production with different configurations using terraform workspaces or separate tfvars files.
What about security?
Security is baked into every configuration. I follow AWS Well-Architected Framework and least-privilege IAM principles. Private subnets, security groups, NACLs, encryption at rest and in transit — all included.
Will you help me deploy the Terraform code?
Yes! All packages include deployment documentation. Premium includes a consultation call where I can walk you through the deployment process or even deploy it together on a screen share.
What if I need changes after delivery?
Basic includes 1 revision, Standard includes 3, and Premium includes unlimited revisions. For changes beyond the revision scope, we can discuss a maintenance arrangement
