I am a Professional Geologist and GIS Specialist with over 8 years of experience in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and geological mapping. Since 2017, I have been working as a Geologist at the Geological Survey of Pakistan, where I am actively involved in geological mapping, field investigations, mineral exploration studies, and applied GIS projects. My work includes preparing detailed geological and thematic maps, conducting spatial data analysis, and providing decision-support outputs for research and exploration activities. I regularly work on DEM, slope, aspect, and terrain analysis, as well as spatial modeling for environmental and geological applications using advanced GIS techniques. Alongside my professional role, I have extensive experience in remote sensing and GIS project work, where I have performed satellite image processing, land use/land cover (LULC) classification, change detection analysis, watershed modeling, and ecological assessments. I have strong expertise in georeferencing, digitization (raster to vector conversion), and spatial database preparation, ensuring accurate and high-quality geospatial outputs for different project needs. I am skilled in designing professional map layouts and base maps, including cartographic and thematic representations for geology, environment, and natural resource studies. I have also worked on mineral exploration and resource mapping projects, integrating geological interpretation with GIS-based analysis to support exploration decisions and reporting. I use industry-standard tools including ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Global Mapper, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, Google Earth Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop to deliver precise, visually appealing, and research-quality outputs. My experience also includes academic and research-based GIS projects, where I have contributed to spatial analysis, data interpretation, and map production for scientific studies.
