Maali is an artist who wears many hats; a singer-songwriter, vocalist, and performer across a multitude of genres. From r&b, pop and Afrobeats, to more alternative music. An already charismatic performer so early in his career, he has opened for Anthony Hamilton, and worked with homegrown talents such as Maya Amolo, June Gachui and recent colorxstudios performers Lisa Oduor and Xenia Manasseh.
In his first year releasing his own music he was nominated and won runner-up in the Songwriter of the Year award of the People's choice awards Kenya.
