SoftBrigade Software Company — Lahore, Pakistan Role: Full Stack Developer I joined SoftBrigade working closely with senior developers, and that environment shaped how I think about software. I wasn't just told what to build — I was shown how to think through a problem before writing a single line of code. I learned to read requirements, break them into pieces, ask the right questions before architecture decisions, and understand why a senior engineer made a specific choice rather than just copying the pattern. That exposure gave me a foundation that goes beyond syntax — I moved from understanding the frontend in isolation to seeing how every layer connects and affects the layers above and below it. Frontend: I learned to think in components using Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS — what logic belongs inside a component, what should be lifted out, and how to avoid special-case bloat. Reactive streams taught me how to compose, cancel, and handle errors without silent subscription bugs. State management with NgRx showed me why uncontrolled local state breaks at scale and how a predictable state layer makes debugging fast. I built responsive interfaces with Tailwind, Bootstrap, and PrimeNG that handled loading, empty, and error states not just the happy path. Backend: I built APIs with Node.js, Express, and NestJS treating every endpoint as a contract — consistent, self-explanatory, and safe to depend on. Layered architecture kept routing, logic, and data access separated, making the codebase easier to test and extend. MongoDB design taught me to model around real query patterns, not just logical structure. Auth was built from first principles using JWT and OAuth — token lifecycle, signing, per-request validation, role-based scoping, and safe expiry. Deployment: I took projects from planning to deployment on Netlify, Railway, and Render, using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
