Served as team captain of a 15-member multidisciplinary UAV team (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials) during the 2024–2025 season. Reached the final round at the 9th METU (ODTÜ) VTOL Aircraft Competition. Designed and tested tilt-rotor VTOL aircraft (8 kg MTOW, 4 motors, front motor pair with 90° tilt mechanism). Developed VTOL transition simulation models (multirotor to fixed-wing) using Gazebo SITL. Worked extensively with ArduPilot architecture and parameters, focusing on system behavior, safety logic, and control structure. Implemented external C++ control and safety modules integrated with Pixhawk flight controllers. Conducted flight testing, telemetry analysis, and safety procedures under SHGM-compliant operations. Actively involved in Teknofest Free Mission preparation, targeting real-flight validation of control algorithms.
