I set up a Zoho Books account for a logistics and storage company, so the owner can see receivables, payables, and cash flow in one dashboard instead of piecing them together from invoices and bank statements. I configured the organization with the company's branding and VAT details, set the currency to Saudi riyals, and arranged the modules the business uses most: Items, Banking, Sales, Purchases, Accountant, Reports, and Documents. The Dashboard shows total receivables with current and overdue amounts, total payables, and a fiscal-year cash flow chart that tracks incoming and outgoing cash against the opening balance. The Income and Expense and Top Expenses widgets show where money is coming in and going out. I also tidied the layout with the Configure Features list, so the team only sees the modules relevant to their work. Result: the owner can check unpaid invoices, cash position, and spending at a glance, and the books stay organized for VAT reporting.
