I worked on connecting a Base44 application with Shopify for a fully functional e-commerce workflow. The client was facing issues with unstable API connections, failed product synchronization, checkout inconsistencies, and performance problems caused by poorly structured AI-generated code. I rebuilt and optimized the integration by restructuring the API workflow, fixing authentication and webhook issues, improving database handling, and stabilizing product and order synchronization between Base44 and Shopify. I also optimized performance, cleaned up redundant code, and implemented a more scalable architecture to ensure reliable communication between both platforms. The final result was a fast, stable, and production-ready Shopify integration that improved automation, reduced sync errors, and created a smoother user experience across the entire e-commerce system.
