FAQ
Do I need special software or macros?
No. The model runs in standard Microsoft Excel (2016 or later) and works in Google Sheets with minor chart differences. No macros or add-ins, so it is safe to share across your team.
What data do you need from me?
A SKU list, a monthly demand forecast (or sales history), opening inventory, and your available production hours per month. If you don't have everything, I'll help you set sensible starting values.
Can you connect it to my ERP?
The model is built to accept a simple paste of exported ERP data (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Odoo). Direct live connections are not included but can be discussed as a custom offer.
Does it work for my industry?
Yes, if you make products on shared lines or machines. It suits manufacturing, FMCG, food, plastics and packaging. Service or pure trading businesses may need a different setup.
Can I update it myself every month?
Yes. Inputs are colour-coded and separated from formulas, so you just update demand, inventory and capacity each cycle and the plan recalculates.
Do you forecast demand for me?
The S&OP model takes your forecast as input. If you need a statistical forecast built from sales history, ask me about a custom offer.
