As a Blue Team Lead at our Hackers Lab, I get to guide a dedicated group of cybersecurity practitioners through hands-on, real-time defensive operations. In the lab, we don't just study theory, we actively monitor and defend against simulated real-world attacks. I oversee our SOC L1 activities, helping the team dive deep into continuous network traffic analysis, log monitoring, threat hunting, and incident triage. My favorite part of the role is mentorship. I direct our defensive challenges to ensure progressive skill-building, working with analysts of all levels to provide hands-on guidance.
