Hello, I'm Melody! I'm a composer and voiceover artist based in the United States.
As a composer, I've done many projects with film, interactive media, and trailers. I specialize in hybrid-orchestral and ambient electronic music. As a trans voiceover artist with a bachelor's degree in vocal music, I have a uniquely flexible voice that can suit a wide range of characters and narration styles.
Recently, much of my work has been centered around interactive media. I've written music for interactive art exhibits, been an AI voice assistant, and made some fun experimental projects about the voice.
FAQ
So you're a trans woman... are you able and comfortable with doing low/"male" voices?
Yes! Fun fact: feminizing HRT has no impact on the voice in adulthood, so I can always pull out the "man voice" on a dime, and I'm happy to! I'm a natural "basso profundo" in operatic terms, so I can certainly deliver that sultry male character or EPIC TRAILER VOICE when needed!
Do you do any other languages or accents?
While I only speak English natively, I do have extensive training as a vocalist translating and pronouncing many different languages and accents. Feel free to message me about your language/accent requirements.
What about character voices? Impressions?
I'm always happy to do character voices; they're the most fun part of voice acting for me! I can also do impressions to some extent, but I am not willing to outright copy someone else's character voice without their permission.
