Supervisor of the Social Media team for a Global Electronic Component Distribution company with over $5 Billion in annual sales, 5,000 employees, and over 900,000 customers serviced per year. - Determine both paid and organic social media strategies, both regionally and globally. - Help to develop team members' professional skills including communication, campaign management, leadership, relationship-building, & more. - Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with DigiKey's brand voice, current promotions, etc. - Strategize with team members to ensure DigiKey's social media channels are keeping up with the latest trends, algorithms, and platform updates. - Set specific annual KPIs for the social media team, and ensure goals are being met. - Review and analyze data weekly and monthly. - Monthly management reporting updates, globally and by region. - Launch and manage campaigns, both omnichannel and social media specific. - Work with Human Resources to aid in employee recruitment. - Manage external digital communications to ensure customer service expectations are being met. In accepting this role, I was tasked with building a paid social media strategy and an overall global marketing strategy (both paid and organic). By working with the team on platform-specific strategies, setting annual KPIs, and ensuring these KPIs are being met, the team has been able to increase our annual follower count by 18%, ERA by 11%, CTR by 26%, and CVR by 64%.
