I am a South African born and raised proofreader and copy-editor. It started out with a love for books and reading that turned into a full-blown career, and now I get to do what I love the most every day!
I have worked as a proofreader and editor since 2017, specializing in fiction work. I have three qualifications in copy-editing and proofreading, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and a couple happy clients that swear by me to get their books edited quickly and professionally.

Maxine is a true professional. Her attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for and she did not disappoint. I appreciated her honesty and her willing to discuss her edits and corrections. Professional, concise, and offered very good criticism. Found and explained all the problems with my manuscript. I would praise more but I think it's not necessary. The rating sais it all. Thank you, and I hope we can work together more.

Again, exceptional work. Didn't praise, found the exact problems and was completely sincere with the review. That is something only professionals do and I will emphasize on that, especially in this time and age. I would definitely hire again. Thank you. Thank you x1000
