Worked on back end features for the e-commerce product DemandWare. A solution with 1000s of enterprise level clients who could not afford downtime if someone could offer them better. So we gave them close to 0 downtime with rolling releases. I programmed in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Velocity Templates, PHP, CSS, HTML, and utilized Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernets for code revision and deployment. AWS was utilized with custom solutions for memcache, EC2, and special DB optimizations, our own containers on both AWS and docker configured as microservices, and I had my hand in it and learned a lot.
