FAQ
What types of scripts are off limits?
Please note that you should contact me first if you have a controversial script to confirm we can work together. I will not do overly sexual scripts or anything that contains racist or sexist content. I reserve the right to refuse orders that are inappropriate or uncomfortable.
I'm not sure if I have all the details required to place an order, what should I do?
If you are unsure of anything regarding the placement of your order, please feel free to contact me via the custom order request. This way, we will have the lines of communication open and I can help answer any questions you may have. I can also send a custom order request based on your needs!
What are Commercial Rights?
Commercial Rights are needed for any work that is not strictly for personal use. 99% of projects require them. Example: Any business use or promoting a brand, business, project, product through non-paid channels (your website, regular social media posts, etc).
Do I need Broadcast Rights?
Broadcast Rights apply to any paid for promotion- Radio, TV, podcast and internet ads (yes, this includes paid social media ads!). If any part of your project will be used for any of these it absolutely needs broadcast licensing. If you are unsure, please don't hesitate to contact me!
How much are revisions?
Your first revision is free! Additional revisions are $5 for 100 words with an added day to deliver. Ex: 200 words = $10 for revision. (I will work very hard to get your revisions completely quickly and professionally.) Note: first revision does not include major script changes.
Do you offer WAV files?
Yes, WAV files are the standard way I will deliver your files. If you need an MP3 or other file type please contact me and select that in the gig extras.
What time zone are you in and where are you located?
The time zone is Pacific Standard Zone (USA). I am located in California.
What accents or languages do you offer?
I offer an American accent and southern American accent, although I'll give most anything a try. Important: If your script includes words that are in different languages, there is no guarantee that I will get the pronunciation right. Please contact me before you order so we can discuss the words.
Do you offer different voice over styles?
Yes, I can record in any style you want. I can be happy, sad, upbeat, serious, easy going, next door neighbor, friendly, or just about anything you can come up with.
What is your communication policy?
You will receive a message from me shortly after I receive and review your script. Also, I will let you know when I start working on your voice-over. If I have any questions during this process, I will send you another message and wait for your response. I will post final project upon completion.
