Jun 2018 - Aug 2020 • 2 yrs 2 mos
This was my first role after university and where I built my foundation in web design and development. I started out creating landing pages and simple WordPress websites, then progressed to full custom builds as my skills grew. I worked closely with senior designers and developers, learning how to take a project from concept and wireframe all the way through to a finished, responsive site. A big part of my role was handling client revisions and feedback, which taught me to listen carefully to what clients actually want and translate it into real design decisions. Here I developed the habits that still define my work: responsive, mobile-first design, close attention to detail, and clear communication at every stage. By the end of this role, I was confidently delivering complete WordPress websites on my own.
