Hi, I’m Mei-Lian (王美蓮), a singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and vocal producer with over 25 years of experience in Mandarin pop music. I bring my professional music experience into my teaching, helping students understand their own voice and develop their singing step by step. My lessons focus on tone, breath, resonance, vocal coordination, pronunciation, and emotional expression. I teach in both English and Mandarin, and can also help you with Mandarin pronunciation and expression in Chinese songs. Each lesson is adapted to your voice, music, and goals.

Despite certain technical difficulties, she responded professionally and even offered to extend the lesson to make up for the technical difficulties. Her advice and feedback was extremely valuable, creating an amazing and easy-to-apply first vocal...

She’s a very understanding and supportive teacher. I had no vocal/singing lessons before and so she’s my first singing teacher. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed my lesson. I learned a lot, got constructive feedback, and received exercises to practise at home.

We had technical difficulties, and she went above and beyond to extend the class to make up for for the time lost. Had a very good introduction with her. Lotus is very understanding patient, and exudes nothing but positive energy to keep the lesson going. She understands the needs of the student and...
