In typical fashion, I was always a young hustling college student. I always found ways to make money & still strengthen my educational muscles. So, a common avenue for me was to edit papers - but I never took money. I networked with other commuter students, and I'd encourage people to barter with me. So, every paper I edited turned into how I was feeding myself on campus. Any 10-page paper meant that I could eat breakfast everyday for 2 weeks, because that was how I bartered without having a meal plan. While I went through my college journey, I always wished that I could have more help outside of the writing/tutoring centers on campus. When two older women approached me during early COVID to ask me about my college process, they noticed that I had recently graduated (to which they had a front row seat to most of my college experience). They asked if I could share some tips with them, as they were nervous to go back to school. I shared my expertise and realized that this is something that is in need of expansion. Through my business, I have helped both women get their bachelor's degrees in psychology and business management. Since then, my one client is working on her second Masters degree and she recently turned 60. So, there's really no excuses in our world of academia. Imperfections Literary Services is indeed open to college students of all ages. Email me for a consultation!
College Access Counselor

While I was in college, one of my work-study positions was to be a College Access Counselor. Within that program, I assisted Camden city high school students with their college application process. I taught them how to write and edit their college application essays, as well as helped them fill out their applications. For most of those students, the college acceptance process was very daunting. However through workshops and constant encouragement, most of my students did get accepted into college. Due to seeing that need firsthand, it inspired me to build my own business to facilitate allleviating college stress for those on their way and those that are enrolled. Welcome to Imperfections Literary Services, where we aim to provide quality services to clientele that will improve their chances of advancing in life through academia with convenience and style.

While I was in college, one of my work-study positions was to be a Education Ambassador. Within that program, I assisted Camden city elementary and middle school students with their homework via a mass-scaled after school tutoring program. For most of those students, homework was very scary because they didn't have the proper academic support at home. However through constant encouragement, most of my students did come to enjoy school and fully comprehend what they were learning.
