Attending an arts-focused high school sparked a strong interest in visual creativity, particularly in art and graphic design. After graduating, I attended college to pursue a degree in art & design. I quickly discovered a passion for marketing and hoped to blend the two in my career. While at Towson University, I balanced multiple marketing internships, including roles at Tulkoff Food Products and the boutique marketing agency Adventure Web Productions. After graduating, I served as a graduate intern at SECU Credit Union and then accepted my first full-time job with Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, where I became more interested in nonprofits, events, and brand marketing. I took a short pivot into franchising and worked for ZIPS Franchising, where I helped coordinate the development of ZIPS' rebrand campaign in collaboration with a local agency (Planit). Ultimately, I realized I enjoy being in the thick of branding rather than managing the process. I left ZIPS to work for Harkins Builders, a local general contractor, where I established a consistent, cohesive brand across the organization, supported social media initiatives and proposal pursuits, and even taught a few classes on LinkedIn to help employee-owners strengthen their online presence. After Harkins, I worked as a content and graphics specialist for Structural Group, a structural engineering firm that needed help aligning its branding and developing a strategy for social media and email marketing. After a short time with this company, I realized my TRUE passion was entrepreneurship, which led me to create my own company, Loubelle Communications. I partner with small businesses that need thoughtful, strategic marketing support without the complexity of a larger agency. Loubelle was built with flexibility and intention, informed by firsthand experience navigating health challenges while running a one-woman business.
